The art of simple living doesn't have to mean disavowing all things modern. And it doesn't mean dragging your family back in time. You can make an intentional choice to lead a simple life. This choice will help you more consistently honor the values of your family. No matter what your unique values are.
As my family moves toward a simpler lifestyle in a modern world, we embrace aspects of minimalism, , sustainable living, and mindfulness. We value cozy times together and with friends - also known as hygge. And I work to create as many of those moments as possible.
A year ago, I set my intention to declutter our home. Decluttering with children can be tough.
I want to fill our home with beauty, simplicity, and even a little glamour. I see last year's intention paying off this year. When I walk through our home, I am deeply satisfied with our new found simplicity.
